Express Ends Service Early on
Saturday, April 18th For Track Construction & Improvements
Some Trains Canceled for Saturday ONLY

The New Mexico Rail Runner Express
will end service early on Saturday, April 18th for track
construction and improvements. The last train leaving
Santa Fe
will be the #511 train departing at 6:20 p.m. For passengers heading
north, the last train is the #508 arriving in
Santa Fe 6:03 p.m. All other Rail Runner
service that Saturday will run on its normal schedule.
“We
want to make sure that those people planning travel to and from
Santa Fe aboard the Rail Runner next Saturday are aware of the
service interruption, so that they don’t get left behind”, says Lawrence Rael, Executive Director of the Mid-Region
Council of Governments. “This service disruption will not affect
those traveling south of the U.S. 550 station in Bernalillo – only
those traveling north to
Santa Fe.”

Cancelled:
Train #510 arriving in
Santa Fe
at 9:12 p.m.
The important thing to note is that the last train heading north
back to Santa Fe on Saturday, April
18th is train #508, departing Downtown Albuquerque at
4:31 p.m. arriving in Santa
Fe
at 6:03 p.m.
(The #510 train will terminate at the Sandoval
County/US 550 station at 8:18 p.m. This train, which normally is the
last train into Santa Fe
for the evening, will not continue on.)
Cancelled:
Train #513 departing Santa
Fe
at 10:00 p.m.
This
means that train #511 departing Santa Fe at 6:20 p.m. will be the
last train
leaving Santa Fe
on Saturday,
April 18th.
(The #513 train which normally departs
Santa Fe
at 10:00 p.m. is cancelled.
There will be conductor announcements on the
trains this week, as well as information on bus and shuttle
connections.
