Mexico Rail Runner Express
Santa Makes Stops in Albuquerque
and Santa Fe for Pre-Christmas Photos

On Saturday, December 20th, people will get a chance to
have their child’s photo taken with Santa for free aboard the New
Mexico Rail Runner Express in Albuquerque or
Santa Fe! A Rail Runner train will be parked
at the Downtown Albuquerque station at 1st and Central,
right across from Century Rio Downtown Movie Theaters. Another Rail
runner train will be parked at the Santa Fe Depot at the Railyard in
Santa Fe.
“With service just opening to
Santa Fe, it gives us an opportunity to expand our
Holiday tradition on the Rail Runner”, says
Lawrence Rael, Executive Director of the Mid-Region
Council of Governments. “We’ve had a tremendous response to
Christmas photos with Santa on the Rail Runner the past three years
in Albuquerque, and we’re ready to
start letting Santa Fe
families enjoy the same treat.”

In addition to photos with Santa, the New Mexico
Rail Runner Express is offering free Saturday and Sunday service
through January 4th so that people can try out the Rail
Runner trip to Santa Fe over the holiday season.
