Santa rides the rails from Belen to
Santa Fe
and back for Christmas Photos on the train!

On Saturday, December 4th - people will once again get a
chance to have their child’s photo taken with Santa Claus aboard the
New Mexico Rail Runner Express. Santa will begin his journey at the
Downtown Albuquerque Rail Runner station when he boards the 9:40
a.m. train heading south to Belen. Once he arrives in Belen, he will
hop on the 10:46 a.m. train heading north and arriving at the Santa
Fe Depot at 1:04 in the afternoon. At 1:17 p.m., Santa will leave
Santa Fe and take the Rail Runner all the way
back to Downtown Albuquerque where his journey will end.

You bring the camera – we’ll bring Santa!
Rail Runner staff is recommending that passengers
wanting to take advantage of “Saturday with Santa on the Rail
Runner” simply find a seat on the train, have their camera ready,
and let Santa come to you! Holiday carolers will also be on board to
entertain from the Albuquerque Boys Choir (ABC) and the
Public
Academy for Performing
Arts (PAPA), and Santa’s helpers will be visiting each train car
handing out candy canes.
Don’t forget the Rail Runner Rider on your Christmas List!
For the next two Saturdays (Nov. 27th
and Dec. 4th) people will be able to pick up all kinds of
New Mexico Rail Runner Express memorabilia. There will be a portable
Rail Runner merchandise kiosk set up at the Los Ranchos/Journal
Center station where people can purchase “everything Rail Runner” –
including toy trains, Rail Runner calendars, soft shell fleece
jackets and more! So drop by and shop for the Rail Runner rider on
your Christmas list! The kiosk will be open from 9:30 a.m. – 6:00
p.m. both Saturdays.
