Rail Runner Express Offers Rides to the New Mexico Bowl

Lobo Special Events Platform a Convenient Stop for Fans

What:
The New Mexico Rail Runner Express once again prepares to help football fans get to this weekend’s New Mexico Bowl featuring Fresno State and Wyoming.          

When:
Saturday, December 19th – Kick-off 2:30 p.m.

Football fans can catch the NM Rail Runner Express to the Lobo Special Events Platform and hop on a shuttle bus that will take them directly to the game. After the game, shuttles will take them back to the Downtown Albuquerque Rail Runner Station to catch a train home. Depending on what time the game is over, there may be time to have dinner or do some shopping in Downtown ABQ before the trains depart. The last bus will depart UNM Stadium for Downtown at 7:00 pm.       

Where:
The Lobo Special Events Platform is located on Commercial Avenue almost directly beneath Avenida Cesar Chavez. Fares for the Lobo train and bus service will be the normal discounted zone fare for Saturday plus a $2 charge to ride the shuttle from the Lobo Special Events Platform to the game. One ticket to ride both the train and the shuttle can be purchased on-line or on the train.
