Mid-Region Council of Governments

As the lead agency in the implementation of the Rail Runner, the MRCOG is a unique governmental agency which takes a regional approach to urban and rural planning in Central New Mexico. In addition to the interactions created by geographic proximity, MRCOG recognizes that transportation, natural resources, land use and the economy are interrelated and that strategic short and long term policy decisions are critical to a healthy community and prosperous New Mexico.
