If You See Something, Say Something

If You See Something, Say Something

The Rio Metro Regional Transit District re-launched its “If You See Something, Say Something™” campaign in August 2018.

This is an ongoing effort led by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that encourages people to pay attention to their surroundings and report suspicious activity to law enforcement. Reporting suspicious activities such as an unattended backpacks or briefcases in a public place, a vehicle that is parked in a strange location, or someone acting unusual, such as paying unusual attention to facilities or buildings beyond a casual or professional interest, could possibly prevent a tragedy.

“We all play an important role in keeping our communities safe”, said Elizabeth Carter, Assistant Transit Director.

How well do you pay attention? Take the challenge.
